I turned sharply
The fluorescent light hmmmmed silently

I had stumbled upon the computer lab;
The quiet one on the 3rd floor
I was in-between classes like I usually am
And found this one full of isolation

It was déjà vu
The door clicked; I'd been here before
2nd row on the left, 2nd computer in.
I sat and my spine felt a tingling sensation

I logged on
The computer slowly kicked on
The silence of the room was deafening
Something, slightly, on the corner of my eye.

I turned sharply, but you were gone.
I could have sworn you were there
I could have sworn I'd seen you
But the chair next to me was bare.

I walked slowly to my next class

This is a cover for a Republican event, and though I am definitely not a Republican,
I thought I'd make them something nice.
The map of the county is done in 3D in Illustrator.
