Jean Guy (said in French as "Shhon Gee") hung around us as long as we were in Kawawa, going to every event we did, visiting every house we did. But after the last performance at the Community Center in the center of the villiage, he hopped on the tailgate of the pickup truck, expecting to follow us into town and hitching a ride.
This was his look when we told him he had to go.
